It’s RED. It’s RICH. It’s SENSATIONAL…

A Broli is a walled vineyard, like the French ‘Clos’. This wine comes from three Broli, hence: Brolo (not to be mistaken for Barolo – a wine from the Piedmonte region). You’ll be pleased to know these walled vineyards are all sustainably run and the results are quite, well, sensational. Amarone del Valpolicella is notoriously hard to make as it uses the appasimento method of drying or raisining the grapes. This is what gives the wine its richness but also the sweet spiciness it is renowned for, making it a brilliant festive wine. However the smooth tannins of this rich wine mean it’s hard not to open all year round!
