It’s WHITE. It’s FRESH. It’s GOOD…

A delicious expression of Verdicchio with apples, citrus and a touch of honey. Le Marche is a less well-known region of Italy but it has made a name for itself with this humble grape. If you do know Le Marche you may have had Verdicchio from Castelli de Jesi but this wine comes from Matelica. No not the heavy metal band! It’s a region called Metalica. To make a tenuous link the wine is aged for four months in stainless steel and this keeps the freshness of the fruit flavours popping in the wine. Metalica is also little closer to the coast so the sea breeze brings a freshness and vibrancy to it. Whilst the body is quite full, the flavours remain zing-tastic so this is firmly a FRESH wine for us and perfect for a midweek glass of wine on your own or with mates.
