We are BIG fans of Pieropan at BOTTL as their wines embody everything that we love in a wine; beautiful aromatics, refreshing acidity and a veritable moreishness.

Situated in the heart of the picturesque medieval town of Soave the Pieropan family have been making wine here since the 1880s and are arguably the archetypal Soave wine producer. In fact they were the first to put the name Soave on a wine bottle in the 1930’s. They ferment the wine in glass lined cement tanks and then let it sit on its lees (dead yeast cells that add texture) til the following spring. It is further aged in the bottle before being released for sale. Once opened expect gorgeous aromas of almond blossom and marzipan followed by flavours of ripe citrus fruit and clean acidity that lingers in the mouth.
