It’s RED. It’s JUICY. It’s SUPERB…
We’re not all about the old world, we love the new world too (if the new world is more often than not, South Africa). This JUICY number is a blend of 5 grapes, no less. The fact that this wine has 1% Carignan, 4% Cinsault and 6% Grenache with 58% being Tinto Barroca (no that’s not a blackcurrant flavoured vitamin you take on a hangover) and the rest (you do the math) Syrah just shows that Chris and Andrea Mullineux know exactly what they’re doing. Like two master chefs they have carefully blended this wine with the flavour justifying why each grape is an essential ingredient.
We also feel inspired by the Mullineux’s who began their journey in a garage on Kloof Street. Humble beginnings that have grown to being one of the most renowned labels in South African winemaking. All good things start with a roll up shutter. Just try this!
