It’s WHITE. It’s RICH. It’s SUPERB…

Translating as “Sun Sun” the SoleSole is a bright and beautiful bouquet of flavours that transports one to the warmth of the Tuscan hills. Our founder Phil has loved this wine for a long time as it has a creaminess reminiscent of burgundian whites but without the oak ageing. The roundness is created by fermentation on the lees and further ageing in the bottle. The result is a clean expression of Vermentino showcasing citrus fruits and a variety of interesting herbal notes (saffron, sage, rosemary) with a richness that makes it a superb food wine, especially with sumptuous pasta dishes.

Tuscany is far more famous for its big reds than its whites but this is testament to what they can do with white grapes. There’s some excellent Chardonnay from this region too, just ask Phil.
